Hello. My name is Andrew Greaves (a.k.a. Greavsie) and after 14 years working within the media industry I took the plunge and set up a company called ‘The Idea Hunter’.

During my career in media I realised there was a huge and unnecessary shortfall in people’s ability to think creatively. To my mind, creative thinking is merely the ability to approach tasks with fresh and different thought processes.

How often have you tackled a challenge with the same approach you’ve used before or resorted to the first method that came to mind? How much of your work, as a consequence, falls into the mediocre rather than the exceptional category? .

Being able to come up with new ideas is both the most enjoyable and important aspect of our professional (and personal) lives. Why do the majority of people find it so hard to keep coming up with these new ideas? The answer is that we have spent a disproportionate amount of time developing our analytical thinking skills ahead of our creative thinking skills.
